On 16 October 2021, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized the opening ceremony of 2nd Training Course in 2021 on Higher Education and Vocational School Quality Accreditation (33rd Course). Participants in the training course are leaders and lecturers from the Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE). VNU Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-CEA) was assigned by VNU to organize this training course. The delegations joined the event: Prof. Dr Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Director of VNU Academic Affairs Department; On the side of HNUE were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice Director; On the side of VNU-CEA were Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice Director and Dr. Dinh Van Toan – Vice Director; and lecturers along with all learners. Prof. Sci. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Director of VNU Academic Affairs Department gave a speech at the Opening Ceremony Spoke at the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Dr Sci. Nguyen Dinh Duc acknowledged and highly appreciated the experience of VNU and VNU-CEA in training education quality assessors, while also emphasized the capacities of assessors that are required in accordance with the spirit of the regulations on assessors issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice Director of HNUE spoke at the Opening Ceremony On behalf of the coordinator to organize the training course, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice Rector of HNUE affirmed that participating in the training is part of a series of solutions to improve the education quality of the University in the context of implementing Decision 69/QD-TTg dated 15 January 2019 of the Prime Minister. Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice Director of VNU-CEA spoke On behalf of the VNU-CEA, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice Director emphasized the objectives and outputs of the training course, believed that the trainees after completing the training course would play an important role in quality assurance activities in their higher education institutions and would participate in education quality assessment and accreditation activities, contribute to the management and improvement of the higher education quality of Vietnam. Module A is conducted online from 09-15 October 2021, Module B from 16-21 October 2021 and Module C from 22 October to 06 November 2021.
